Mini
This is a painting of an original mini. I painted it as a 21st birthday present to my brother. I chose to keep it monochrome after experimenting using colour. I felt that by keeping it to black and white it was a more interesting piece of Art, especially for a twenty-one year old guy. It has a feel of pop art about it, because the detail is not realistic, for example the headlights; I just used the natural blending of the paint to create the circles of the light and the reflection on the metal surround.

Lucy was so excited to do this painting for her brother and he was delighted with it, it takes pride of place in his flat. I love it.
